Enfin !!

Notre-Dame de la Trinité




L'église Notre-Dame de la Trinité (XI-XVI-XXème siècle). Cette église est agrandie au XVIème siècle et remaniée dans la seconde moitié du XXème siècle. Les fresques de la voûte sont l'oeuvre de Joël Dabin. Le chœur, œuvre du sculpteur Fréour, date du XI-XIII-XXème siècle.

The church Our Lady of the Trinity (XI-XVI-XXth century). This church is enlarged in the XVIth century and reshaped in the second half of the XXth century. The frescoes of the vault are Joël Dabin's work. The choir, the work of the sculptor Fréour, date of the XI-XIII-XXth century.

Lorsque vous viendrez à Mouais arrêter vous au bar prendre la clé de la chapelle visiter et aller boire un verre au bar la patronne est charmante
If you come to the village of Mouais, stop by the little cafe-tavern and ask for the Chapel's key. You can enjoy a drink after the visit ,the owner is a charming woman.

Saint Marcelin

Nous sommes retourné à Mouais pour visiter la chapelle Saint Marcellin.
Cette chapelle semble dater du IXème siècle. On y trouve les statues de saint Marcellin, saint Fiacre et sainte Apolline. Les reliques de saint Marcellin (pape de 296 à 304 et martyr) auraient été rapportées de Rome par l'abbé Convoyon ou Conwoïon de l'abbaye Saint-Sauveur de Redon et déposées dans l'église du monastère de Mouais.

We returned to Mouais to visit the chapel ST Marcellin.
This chapel seems to date the IXth century. We find saint Marcellin's statues, saint Fiacre et sainte Apolline there.

Saint Marcellin's relics (pope from 296 to 304 and martyr) would have been brought back by Rome by the abbot Convoyon or Conwoïon of the abbey Saint-Sauveur de Redon and put deposited in the church of the monastery of Mouais.
